Why I gave the title of Blog as Sharing My Knowledge?

Our parents have thought a lot before giving us a calling name. Some of our names are derived from history, some of us from ancient mythology and some of us getting named from the celebrity. They gave us the best name possible. And today your name is your own brand.

Now let us come to authors. Unless you have read his/her previous book you won’t chose the new author. You just look the title of the book and if it is fascinating you will chose that(new authors)  book to read. No wonder same is the case in movies. I have watched many movies because of good titles only.

Why I am sharing you all these things? Just because I wanted to make you clarify the significance of giving a good and reasonable title.

Today morning, I was just surfing Google Books Store. I was surfing to find some rich self-help books. When I was reading reviews of readers regarding various books the inbox mail tuned.

It was a mail from a person who was working as sales representative in one of the malls in New Delhi. For privacy concern I can’t disclose his full identity. He asked me one question, “why the title of the blog is sharing my knowledge”

He further said the blog name seems to be illogical stating that the knowledge is only shared by gurus, seniors or experts. I am not senior, how can I be guru because I am not the teaching if he means saying guru as a religious person I am not that too. I am just a student then how could I be expert.

Many readers may find this as a reasonable fact that giving a blog title as sharing my knowledge is just an over smartness.  This question is tough for me to answer. I am not the person who is enriched with knowledge neither a person who has god gifted divine power. At this age how can I share my knowledge in blog? In such platform where there are many experts and seniors too.

It is often said that a teacher learns more than the student does. I want to connect this statement with my real life example. It was of that time when I was doing my schooling in Kathmandu. I was in my school hostel. We had one great teacher as a hostel warden. He was from Darjeeling. His good name is Bhola Bhuzel.

I personally take him as my life changing guru. From his inspirations and knowledge I learnt a leadership quality. He built such smart quality within me which make me a proactive boy.

Usually, some Fridays we used to celebrate it as a Good Friday. In that day we (students) used to come in front of everyone then share or show talents. Some of us used to say poem, some used to sing song, some used to do caricature of teacher, staff or colleagues. We used that day as a sharing day. In one of those Fridays Bhola Sir decided to share a part of his life story.

You might feel saying my history I am deviating from the topic. It’s not so. I am providing the source from where I got this topic.

He started saying about his past life. He said about his schooling and college and his decision to enter Nepal.  What problems he faced? How he used to feel while working in trekking routes in Nepal? And the line which I remember the most is “how he used to feel when he used to see child crying in trekking route”. He used to miss her daughter a lot.

After finishing a part of story he looked at us and said, “today I am sharing my past with you, I am sharing my knowledge which I have gain living this life. You all are child today. You are enjoying your life pretty well and I wish you will enjoy all the remaining life. He further said us don’t be hopeless when you get problems. All problems are meant to be solved. Especially to you grade 10 students, might we not meet again or might not I get chance to give you my words again, you all must be very careful choosing your life. Mistakes are part of life…………”

It were a very wonderful lines, I feel blessed that I got such teacher in my schooling. I freshly can remember that day. There used to be small round tables in big hall, big mattress and sir used to sit in middle of that rectangular room. But at that time one phrase captured my attention “sharing my knowledge”.

Then when I created a free website I used it for the first time. My website was not popular because there weren’t reader like in blog. In blog I could find minimum 50 people viewing my blog but website just around 5. After creating a new blog I immediately titled it as same line sharing my knowledge.

And the second clarification I want to give is you needn’t need to be guru, senior or expert to share the knowledge. I personally believe that everyone has a vast knowledge. The potentiality of sharing depends on own self. Age is not the reasonable ground to say that you are young so you can’t share your knowledge.
I can provide a best example that age can’t be barrier. Today many senior and aged directors of the company take suggestions of junior executives. They hire juniors as chief executives for the company.
Look did age seem as a barrier. I think not.

Sharing your knowledge with others will help you to identify gaps in your knowledge and create a list of topics you can work from to further your own education thus helping you to know what you don’t know. Saying this I am not saying my reader to learn everything. I want to say you  know everything but be specialized in single field. It is good to be master in single field than being jack of all masters of none.
